Carefully remove the radio from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage. Verify that all contents are present: Bernstein RAC 20 unit, AC power adapter, and this instruction manual.

Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the 12V DC input jack on the rear of the unit. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

For clock and alarm backup during power outages, install 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the rear of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.

2. Radio Tuning

• Select either FM or AM using the Function Selector.
• Rotate the large Tuning Dial to manually select your desired radio station. The Tuning Indicator light will illuminate when a strong signal is received.

6. Using the Sleep Timer
