Ensure you select the correct helmet size for a secure and comfortable fit. The N70-2 X is available in two shell sizes to accommodate XS-3XL. Refer to the size chart below for guidance.

3.2. Installing the Pinlock Lens

1. Carefully remove the face shield from the helmet.
2. Flex the face shield slightly to flatten it.
3. Align the Pinlock lens with the pins on the inside of the face shield.
4. Press the edges of the Pinlock lens onto the pins until it seals securely. Ensure there are no gaps between the Pinlock and the face shield.
5. Reinstall the face shield onto the helmet.

3.3. Adjusting the VPS Inner Sunscreen

The VPS inner sunscreen can be adjusted using the lever located on the side of the helmet. Push the lever up or down to deploy or retract the sunscreen. The auto quick retention system ensures it stays in place.

4. Operating the Helmet Configurations

The N70-2 X offers versatile configurations to suit different riding environments:

• Full-Face Configuration: Chin bar and face shield installed. Provides maximum protection and wind deflection.
• Adventure Configuration: Chin bar and peak installed, face shield removed (allows use of goggles). Offers increased airflow while maintaining full-face protection.
• Open-Face (3/4) Configuration: Chin bar, face shield, and peak removed. Provides an open-face experience.

4.1. Removing/Installing the Chin Bar

To remove the chin bar, locate the release mechanisms on both sides of the helmet, typically near the pivot points. Follow the specific instructions provided in the helmet's included quick-start guide for detailed steps. To install, align the chin bar with the helmet and snap it securely into place until you hear a click on both sides.

4.2. Adjusting Ventilation

The Airbooster airflow system includes a chin guard air intake and rear air exhaust ventilation. Open or close the vents as needed to regulate airflow and maintain comfort inside the helmet.

The inner comfort padding and neck-roll are removable. Hand wash them with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

• Verify that the chin bar is fully engaged and locked on both sides. You should hear a distinct click when properly installed.

If the Microlock2 double lever retention system is not fastening securely, inspect for debris or wear. Do not attempt to repair a damaged retention system; contact Nolan support or an authorized dealer for assistance.
