1. Unfold the gameboard and place it in the center of the playing area.
2. Separate the cardboard coins by denomination (1 and 5) and place them in a bank area accessible to all players.
3. Shuffle the Title Deed Cards and place them face down on their designated spaces on the board.
4. Shuffle the Question Block Cards and Bowser's Fury Cards separately, then place them face down on their respective spaces.
5. Each player chooses one of the 6 plastic tokens to represent them on the board.
6. Place the Cardboard Bowser Token with its plastic stand on the 'GO' space.
7. Each player starts with 10 coins.
8. The player who most recently played a Super Mario game goes first. Play proceeds clockwise.

On your turn, roll both dice (1 Black Die, 1 Red Die) and move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated by the Red Die. The Black Die is for Bowser's movement (see Special Features).

• Collecting Locations: When you land on an unowned location, you must buy it for the price indicated on the board. Take the corresponding Title Deed Card. If you land on a location owned by another player, you must pay them rent as indicated on their Title Deed Card.
• കറൻസി: Gold cardboard coins are used as currency. Players aim to collect the most coins to win the game.
• Warp Pipes: If you land on a Warp Pipe space, you can immediately move your token to any space between that Warp Pipe and the next Warp Pipe space on the board. This allows for strategic shortcuts.
• Question Blocks: Landing on a Question Block space requires you to draw a Question Block Card and follow its instructions. These cards can provide advantages or challenges.
• Bowser's Fury: Landing on a Bowser's Fury space requires you to draw a Bowser's Fury Card and follow its instructions. These cards often involve Bowser's actions.
• Passing GO: When you pass or land on the 'GO' space, collect 2 coins from the bank.
• Go to Jail: If you land on 'Go to Jail', move your token directly to the 'In Jail' space. You cannot collect coins for passing GO.

Special Features: Bowser

Bowser introduces a dynamic element to the game. On each player's turn, after moving their own token, the player also rolls the Black Die for Bowser's movement. Bowser moves around the board separately from player tokens.

• Bowser's Actions: If Bowser lands on an unowned location, he claims it for himself, turning its Title Deed Card to 'Game Over' mode. If Bowser lands on an owned location, he may steal coins from the owner or send them to Jail, depending on the specific space and card instructions.
• Battling Bowser: If a player lands on the same space as Bowser, they must battle him. The player chooses another player to assist them. Both players roll the Red Die. If the combined roll is 7 or higher, Bowser is defeated, and the active player gets a free round around the board. If the combined roll is 6 or lower, Bowser wins, and the active player is sent to Jail.
