6.4 Polarity Testing

Test the polarity and DC voltage (0.5V-60V) of a circuit using the alligator clips.

1. Connect the alligator clips to the Emitter's "Polarity" port.
2. Attach the red clip to the positive terminal and the black clip to the negative terminal of the power source (e.g., a 9V battery).
3. Select "5. Polar Test" from the Emitter's main menu.
