5.3 Power Options and Connectivity

The camera supports two power options: POE 48V or DC 12V. Please ensure you select the correct power supply for your camera model.

POE 48V Option

If you have the POE 48V version, the camera can be powered directly through the Ethernet cable when connected to an 802.3AF Standard 48V POE Switch. It also includes an auxiliary power supply connector, allowing it to be used like a non-POE IP camera with a separate 12V DC power adapter if needed.

DC 12V Option

The DC 12V version is a regular IP camera that does not support POE. It requires a standard 12V DC power adapter for operation.

Note: The power adapter is not included with either version of the camera.

5.4 Integrated System Setup

The camera can be integrated into various surveillance systems. Here are two common configurations:

Note: While System 1 can save video via CMS software on a computer, it requires the computer to be on constantly. System 2, utilizing an NVR, is generally more stable and reliable for continuous video recording.

• Cloud Storage warning in Linklemo app: This camera model does not support cloud storage. Disregard any prompts within the Linklemo app to purchase cloud storage.
• Unsharp images at close range: The sharpness of images at close distances depends on the lens's fixed focal length. For cameras with a 3.6mm lens, objects typically remain sharp at a certain minimum distance. If objects are too close, they may appear blurry. Ensure objects of interest are within the optimal focal range of your chosen lens (3.6mm or 6mm).
