Before installation, ensure your existing garage door opener is compatible. You can test compatibility by using pliers to momentarily short-circuit the wall button terminals on your garage door opener. If the garage door opens or closes, it is compatible with this smart controller.

Follow the wiring diagram to connect the controller to your garage door opener. Ensure power is disconnected before performing any wiring.

1. Connect the power cable to the 'Input AC' terminals (L and N) on the controller.
2. Connect the sensor cable to the 'Signal Cable' terminals (S1 and S2) on the controller. The wire order does not matter for the sensor.
3. Connect the controller's output (S3 and S4) to the wall button terminals on your garage door opener. These are typically the same terminals where your existing wall button is connected.

4.3 Wired Door Sensor Mounting

The wired door sensor is crucial for monitoring the garage door's open/closed status. Install it as follows:

1. Ensure your garage door is closed before mounting the sensor.
2. Find a suitable position on the garage door and the adjacent wall/frame to mount the two parts of the sensor.
3. Mount the sensor parts using the included double-sided adhesive tapes, screws, or brackets.
4. Crucially, ensure that when the garage door is closed, the distance between the two sensor parts is less than 30mm.
5. When the garage door is open, the two sensor parts must be well separated (more than 30mm apart).

The controller only supports 2.4Ghz WiFi networks. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4Ghz WiFi network during pairing.

2. Select 'Schedule' to set specific times for the garage door to open or close automatically.

  • Check your voice commands for accuracy.
• **Does it work without connecting the limit switch (sensor)?**: While the device may power on, the core functionality of monitoring the garage door's open/closed status and providing accurate notifications relies entirely on the wired door sensor. For full functionality and safety, the sensor must be correctly installed and connected.
