Powering the Receiver (PR-8):
For indoor use, connect the provided DC9V/500mA power adapter to the receiver's power input and plug it into a wall outlet. For outdoor or portable use, open the battery compartment on the underside of the receiver and insert two (2) 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
Connecting the Receiver to an Audio System:
Connect one end of the 6.35mm audio output cable to the audio output socket on the receiver. Connect the other end to the input of your speaker, mixer, or sound card.
Powering the Transmitter (ST-4):
Open the battery compartment on the ST-4 transmitter and insert one (1) 1.5V AA battery, observing correct polarity.
Attaching the Transmitter:
The ST-4 transmitter features a clip-on design. Securely attach it to the bell of your saxophone or other wind instrument. Adjust the flexible gooseneck to position the microphone capsule appropriately for optimal sound capture.

Press and hold the power button on both the PR-8 receiver and ST-4 transmitter until their respective displays illuminate. To power off, press and hold the power button again.
Frequency Synchronization (IR Sync):
Ensure both units are powered on. On the PR-8 receiver, select your desired channel/frequency using the control buttons. Then, align the IR windows of the receiver and transmitter (usually marked 'IR') and press the 'IR Sync' button on the receiver. The frequency will be automatically transferred to the transmitter.
