  3. Verify that the device is securely fastened and cannot move.

Connect the incoming and outgoing wires to the insulated terminal blocks. The connection can be made from the top or bottom.

  • Use copper wires with a nominal section area appropriate for the rated current (refer to Table 2 below).
  • Ensure all connections are tight with a wiring torque of 3.5 N·m.
  • The device supports Cable, U-type busbar, and Pin-type busbar connections.

6.2 Testing the RCCB

  1. Ensure the RCCB is in the 'I-ON' position.
  2. Press the blue 'TEST' button. The RCCB should immediately trip to the 'O-OFF' position.
  3. If the RCCB does not trip, it may be faulty and should be replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.
  4. To reset the RCCB after a test or trip, push the handle fully downwards to 'O-OFF' and then upwards to 'I-ON'.

  • If power is present and it still doesn't trip, the RCCB is faulty and must be replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.
RCCB cannot be reset after tripping.
  • Persistent earth leakage fault.
  • Internal damage to the RCCB.
  • Ensure the handle is pushed fully downwards to 'O-OFF' before attempting to push it upwards to 'I-ON'.
  • If a fault is still present, the RCCB will not reset. Identify and rectify the leakage fault.
  • If no fault is found and it still won't reset, the RCCB may be damaged and needs replacement.
