5.5 Object Distance Ratio (D:S = 12:1)

The ANENG TH201 has an object distance ratio of 12:1. This means that as the distance (D) between the thermometer and the measured object increases, the diameter (S) of the measurement area will also increase proportionally. For accurate readings, ensure the target area is larger than the measurement spot size at the given distance.

5.6 Water/Oil Temperature Measurement Method

When measuring the temperature of boiling liquids, it is crucial to prevent smoke and water vapor from coming into contact with the thermometer's temperature sensing area. The recommended measurement angle is approximately 45° to 60° to avoid incorrect readings caused by steam interference.

To ensure accurate readings and prolong the life of your thermometer:
