2.1 Dashcam Components

2.2 Key Function Description

• Power Key (On/Off Function):
  • To turn on: Long press the power key for 3 seconds when the device is off. The dashcam will automatically start recording.

• Ensure the car engine is turned off before installation.
• Use a high-speed Micro SD card (Class 10 or above) with a capacity of no less than 32GB and a maximum of 128GB.

5.2 Dashcam Installation

There are two primary methods for powering the dashcam:

• Standard Car Charger: Plug the provided car charger into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter port. Connect the USB end of the charging extension cable to the dashcam's TYPE-C port.
• Hardwire Kit (Buck Line - Recommended for Parking Monitoring):
  • The hardwire kit requires a 3-core buck line connection.
  • Connect the negative pole (black wire) of the Hardwire Kit to the ground of the car fuse box.
  • For 24-hour parking monitoring (DVR works continuously), connect the positive pole (red wire) of the Hardwire Kit to the BAT interface of the car fuse box.
  • If you want the DVR to stop working after parking, connect the positive pole of the Hardwire Kit to the ACC interface of the car fuse box.
  • കുറിപ്പ്: A 24V power supply will damage the motherboard. If your vehicle uses 24V, you must use a 24V to 12V converter.

If your package includes a rear camera, follow these steps:

1. Install the rear camera at the rear of the vehicle, paying attention to its orientation. The wiring can be routed along the roof of the vehicle.
2. Connect the rear camera's plug to the rear camera interface (AV port) of the recorder.
3. For automatic reversing function (displaying parking lines when reversing), connect the rear camera's red cable wire to your car's reverse lamp positive pole (+). If this function is not desired, you can ignore the red wire.

• The system working indicator light should be on.

The Viidure app allows you to control and manage your dashcam via WiFi.

• "File" error or incomplete files when replaying: Format the TF card using the Car DVR's "Format" function.
• Image is foggy: Check the lens for dirt or fingerprints. Clean the lens with lens paper.
• Recorder does not work: Press the reset key (usually a small button that requires a sharp object like a paperclip) and then restart the device.
• Mobile phone cannot connect to the product:
  • Ensure your mobile phone is not connected to other WiFi hotspots. The app can only connect when your phone's WiFi is directly connected to the dashcam's WiFi.
  • Check if the dashcam is connected to another mobile phone, as only one mobile phone can link at a time.
• Real-time picture on mobile phone is stuck: This is usually related to the WiFi signal. Ensure your phone is not too far from the recorder. Strong WiFi interference from other nearby networks can also cause this issue.

Some built-in computer players (like Windows Media Player) may not fully support this format. It is recommended to download professional playback software (e.g., PotPlayer).
