SIM Card Installation Guide
കുറിപ്പ്: For the 2G version, only a GSM SIM card works with this model. If you are using a 3G or 4G card, please confirm it has GSM functionality. Ensure the SIM card does not have a PIN code enabled.

STEP 1: Activate SIM Card
Install the new SIM card (with 2G/4G network function) into your mobile phone and activate it. Ensure the SIM card can make calls, send texts, and has an internet connection. Once confirmed, insert the SIM card into your tracker.
STEP 2: Turn on the Tracker
Charge the tracker for approximately 1 hour. The yellow and blue indicator lights will flash as the device searches for a network and GPS signal. Wait about 5 minutes in an area with good reception (e.g., near a window or outdoors) for both lights to become constantly on. If the yellow light continues to flash, it indicates no network connection; move to another location. The device will obtain a GPS location when a signal is found; otherwise, it will use LBS/WIFI for positioning.
STEP 3: Setting APN for the Tracker
You need to know your tracker's SIM card's APN (Access Point Name). Every SIM card carrier has its own APN content. You can find the APN by checking your SIM card carrier online, inserting the SIM card into a mobile phone, or by asking your SIM card provider.
From another phone number, send text messages to the tracker's SIM card number to set the APN. The format is as follows:
- If your SIM card's APN does not require a username and password:

STEP 4: Setting GPRS Mode
Send the text command 7100000 to the device to set GPRS mode. Wait approximately 30 seconds; both the blue and orange lights should stay ON. This indicates that you can now log in to the SinoTrackPro web platform or app to check if the tracker is active. The username is your tracker's ID number (found on the product), and the default password is 123456.
If the tracker is online but shows a China location, take it outdoors to a location with good GPRS signal. Once it acquires a signal, it will update its location.
IMEI Management (Important for some regions)
If you are in Pakistan, Chile, Colombia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, or Indonesia, you may need to manage the IMEI when you receive the product. You should register/change the IMEI in your country as soon as possible, otherwise, the device may not be allowed for use.
- If you have a valid IMEI (registered in your country, e.g., from an old phone):
You can change the product's IMEI within 5 days of receipt. (Note: 3G/4G versions may not support IMEI change). To change IMEI to123456789078532, send SMS command:IMEI#123456789078532#

- If you do not have a valid IMEI, you should register the existing IMEI:
To check the current IMEI, send SMS command:IMEI0000. Then you can get the IMEI and register it within 5 days of receiving the product.

5.1 Online Tracking

5.2 SMS Tracking
To get the device's location via SMS:
- Call the SIM card phone number in the tracker. You will receive a Google Maps link of its position.
- Alternatively, send the message
6690000to the SIM card phone number in the tracker.
5.3 Admin Number Setting
After setting an admin number, all SMS operations to the device will only be accepted from this number.

5.5 Over-speed Alarm Setting
The device can send an alert if it exceeds a set speed limit.

5.6 Shake Alarm Setting
The device can send an alarm if it detects shaking.

5.7 Device Working Mode Setting
The battery life depends on the selected working mode. The ST-904/ST-904L has a 1200mAh battery.
- 1. WORK - Keep working mode:
The tracker continuously works and sends data at set time intervals. (ST-904/ST-904L works 18 to 24 hours).

The tracker only works when it is moving. When stopped, it enters sleep mode, GPS shuts off, and GSM operates in low consumption mode. Vibration, SMS commands, or calling the tracker can wake it up for 5 minutes. (ST-904/ST-904L works 3 to 10 days).

5.8 Terminal (Local) Time Setting
The factory setting for time is GMT 0.

7 ഉപയോക്തൃ നുറുങ്ങുകൾ
- APN Configuration: Always ensure you have the correct APN settings for your specific SIM card carrier. Incorrect APN is a common cause of tracking issues.
- Initial GPS Signal: For the first use or after a long period of inactivity, take the tracker outdoors to an open area to acquire a strong GPS signal. If it shows a "China location" initially, it means it hasn't locked onto a local GPS signal yet.
- Battery Life in MOVE Mode: While "MOVE" mode is designed for power saving, if the tracked object (e.g., a car) is constantly moving throughout the day, the tracker will remain active and its battery life will be similar to "WORK" mode (18-24 hours) rather than the extended 3-10 days.
- SIM Card Requirements: Ensure your SIM card supports making calls, sending messages, and has GPRS network access. It must also have sufficient balance and call divert turned off.
- SOS ബട്ടൺ: The orange SOS button can be long-pressed for 3 seconds to automatically make a call to a pre-set guardian number. This is useful for children or the elderly in emergencies.
