5.1 Wiring the Master Controller

The BS64 master controller has terminals for power input, light output, SPI output, PUSH switch, and Link button. Refer to the diagram below for correct connections.

  • ഇൻപുട്ട്: Connect DC24V power supply to V+ and V- terminals.
  • ഔട്ട്പുട്ട്: Connect the main power line for the stair lights to the Output V+ and V- terminals.
  • SPI Output: Connect the SPI LED strip to the SPI Output terminals (GND, DATA, V+).
  • PUSH GND: Connect an optional PUSH switch for manual control.
  • ലിങ്ക്: Short press 'Link' 1 time to activate link mode of remote. Long press 'Link' 3 seconds, PIR sensor link is done while the light flashes 6 times slowly.

5.2 PIR Sensor Installation

Install Sensor A at the bottom of the stairs and Sensor B at the top. Ensure they have a clear line of sight for motion detection. The PIR sensing distance is 3m.

5.3 Stair Light Sub-device and T-cable Connection

The BS-L2C sub-devices are connected to the LED strips and then integrated into the main wiring using T-cables. Each sub-device controls one stair light segment.

The T-cables facilitate connection between the main power line and individual stair lights. The recommended distance between each step's light connection is 400mm, with a 250mm drop for the light itself.

5.4 Connection Diagrams by Number of Steps

The wiring configuration for the main power supply depends on the total number of steps to ensure adequate power distribution.

Option 1: Under 24 Steps (using 1.5mm² cable)

Power can be supplied from the first step or the last step.

Power should be supplied from the middle of the stair run.

Option 3: 37-64 Steps (using 2.5mm² cable)

Power should be supplied from the middle of the stair run, using a thicker 2.5mm² cable for increased current capacity.

6.1 App Control (Tuya Smart App)

  1. Download the Tuya Smart App from your device's app store.

6.2 2.4G RF Remote Control

The BS64 controller is compatible with most Miboxer 2.4G RF remote controllers.

  1. Linking the Remote:
    • Short press the 'Link' button on the BS64 controller once to enter linking mode.
    • Within a few seconds, perform the linking procedure on your 2.4G RF remote (refer to your remote's manual for specific instructions, typically involving pressing a 'Link' or 'Pair' button).
    • The stair lights will flash 6 times slowly to indicate successful linking.
  2. Once linked, use the remote to control basic functions such as turning lights on/off, adjusting brightness, or changing modes (depending on remote features).

  • Keep the controller and sensors clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
