6.1 MPPT Function Test (Solar Panel Testing)

This function is used to test the maximum power point of solar panels.

  1. Ensure the device is adequately charged.
  2. Connect the solar test clips (Kelvin clamps) to the positive and negative terminals of the solar panel. The red clamp connects to the positive electrode, and the black clamp connects to the negative electrode. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. From the main menu, select 'MPPT' and press 'OK'.
  4. The screen will display 'Power Max', 'Voltage Max', 'Current Max', 'Open Circuit', 'Short Circuit', and 'Temperature'.
  5. Press 'OK Key To Start' to begin the MPPT test. The device will automatically acquire data and display the results, including the PV/IV MPPT chart.
  6. The test results are automatically recorded.

6.2 Multimeter Function (ET275 Only)

The ET275 model can perform various electrical measurements.

  1. Connect the multimeter test leads to the appropriate ports on the device.
  2. From the main menu, select 'Multimeter' and press 'OK'.
  3. Use the arrow keys to select the desired measurement mode (e.g., V DC, V AC, HV DC, HV AC, Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Continuity, Diode).
  4. Connect the test leads to the circuit or component to be measured. The reading will be displayed on the screen.
