The WMF Perfect Plus pressure cooker is crafted from durable Cromargan Stainless Steel 18/10, ensuring a long lifespan and resistance to rust. Its innovative design includes control elements integrated into the handle, a clear cooking indicator, and a TransTherm universal base suitable for all stove types, including induction.

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using your pressure cooker. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.
- Never open the pressure cooker while it is under pressure. Ensure the pressure indicator has fully dropped before attempting to open the lid.
- Do not fill the pressure cooker beyond the maximum fill lines indicated inside the pot. Overfilling can lead to blockages and unsafe pressure levels.
- Always check that the sealing ring is correctly seated and undamaged before each use.
- Ensure the steam release valve and all safety mechanisms are clean and free from obstructions.
- Keep hands and face away from the steam release valve when pressure is being released.
- Use appropriate heat settings. Excessive heat can damage the cooker and its components.
- This pressure cooker is equipped with automatic steam release and residual pressure safety features for your protection.

- Before first use, wash all parts of the pressure cooker (pot, lid, sealing ring, and handle) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Inspect the sealing ring for any damage or deformation. Ensure it is correctly seated in the lid.
- Ensure the maintenance-free valve system is clear.
4.2 Preparing for Cooking
- Place ingredients and the required amount of liquid into the pot.
- Observe the internal measuring scale. Do not exceed the maximum fill lines:
- For most foods: Max 2/3 full.
- For foods that expand (e.g., rice, pulses, dried vegetables): Max 1/2 full.
- Minimum liquid: Always add at least 1/3 cup (approx. 80ml) of liquid.

- Align the lid with the pot. The handle should be positioned over the pot handle.
- Press the lid down firmly and slide the handle forward until it locks into place. You should hear a click, and the indicator on the handle will show 'locked' or 'zu'.
- Ensure the lid is securely closed and cannot be rotated.

- Place the closed pressure cooker on a suitable hob (gas, electric, ceramic, induction).

- First Ring (Yellow): Approximately 110°C (low pressure) for delicate foods like fish or vegetables.
- Second Ring (Red): Approximately 119°C (high pressure) for robust foods like meat or stews.
- Begin timing your cooking once the desired pressure level is reached.

- Pot and Lid: The pot and lid (without the handle) are dishwasher safe. For best results, hand wash with warm soapy water.

- Verify that there is sufficient liquid in the pot.
- Ensure the heat source is adequate and consistent.
- Pressure indicator not rising:
- Check for blockages in the steam release valve or pressure indicator mechanism. Clean thoroughly.
- Ensure the lid is properly sealed and locked.
- Lid cannot be opened after cooking:
- This indicates residual pressure. Do not force the lid open.
- Allow the cooker to cool down further, or use the quick release method (if safe for the food) until the pressure indicator has fully dropped.
- Food is undercooked or overcooked:
- Adjust cooking time and pressure level according to the food type and desired doneness.
- Ensure the correct pressure level was maintained throughout the cooking process.
