The heating element is uniformly placed to maximize heat distribution and complies with NEC 427.23 standards. This heater is moisture and chemical resistant and includes a spring closure that can expand up to 3 inches (76mm) for a secure fit. An adjustable thermostat allows temperature control from 50 to 4250F (10 to 2180C) for metal drums or pails. The maximum exposure temperature on the heating surface is 4500F (2320C).
