Follow these steps to set up your Mitel Aastra 6869i telephone.

1. Attach the Desk Stand: Align the desk stand with the slots on the back of the phone unit and snap it into place.

Using the Display and Soft Keys

The color display provides visual information about calls, menus, and phone status. The soft keys located directly below the display change their function based on the current context. Their labels on the screen indicate their current action (e.g., Pickup, Conf, Xfer, Voicemail, Home).

To access your voicemail, press the dedicated വോയ്സ്മെയിൽ button. Follow the audio prompts to listen to messages, change greetings, or adjust settings.

Access your phone's directory by pressing the ഡയറക്ടറി soft key or a dedicated button (if configured). Use the navigation cluster to scroll through contacts and press the ഡയൽ ചെയ്യുക soft key to initiate a call.
