4.2. Burner and Pan Assembly

1. Carefully place the square flat pan into the designated opening of your fire pit enclosure.
2. Position the penta shaped burner within the pan. The burner is pre-assembled to the pan with the control box.
3. Ensure the control box is securely mounted and accessible for operation and maintenance.

4.3. Gas Line Connection

1. Connect the flexible gas line from the control box to your natural gas supply. Use appropriate gas-rated sealant on all threaded connections.
2. Ensure all gas connections are tight and leak-free. Perform a leak test using a soap and water solution. Do not use an open flame to check for leaks.
3. The kit includes a 36-inch flex line between the valve and burner for flexible installation.

This fire pit burner kit features a user-friendly push-button ignition system with an integrated flame sensor.

5.1. Lighting the Fire Pit

1. Ensure the gas supply valve to the fire pit is open.
2. Locate the control panel, typically integrated with the burner pan.
3. Press and hold the IGNITER button while simultaneously turning the MAIN BURNER knob to the 'ON' position.
4. Continue to hold the IGNITER button until the pilot light ignites and the main burner flames are established. Release the button once the flame is stable.
5. Adjust the flame height using the MAIN BURNER knob as desired.

5.2. Flame Sensing Feature

The automatic flame sensor will continuously monitor the flame. If the flame is extinguished for any reason (e.g., strong wind), the sensor will automatically close the gas valve, preventing gas leakage. To re-ignite, follow the lighting instructions after ensuring the area is clear of gas fumes.

5.3. Shutting Down the Fire Pit

1. Turn the MAIN BURNER knob to the 'OFF' position.
2. Close the main gas supply valve to the fire pit.
3. Allow the fire pit and surrounding area to cool completely before covering or storing.
