- Attach the SpO2 probe to the patient's finger (or appropriate site for pediatric/neonatal patients). Ensure the probe is securely placed and the light emitter/detector are aligned.
- The monitor will automatically begin displaying SpO2 percentage and pulse rate (PR) once a stable signal is detected.
- Observe the plethysmograph waveform on the display for signal quality.
