The Waveshare PoE HAT (C) is a Power Over Ethernet (PoE) accessory designed for the Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Raspberry Pi 4B. It complies with the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE network standard, enabling both network connection and power supply to your Raspberry Pi through a single Ethernet cable. This HAT features 5V USB-A and 12V header outputs to support additional peripherals, an onboard active cooling fan for thermal management, and an MP8676 buck chip for stable power delivery.

3. സജ്ജീകരണം
Follow these steps to install the PoE HAT (C) onto your Raspberry Pi:
- നിങ്ങളുടെ റാസ്ബെറി പൈ തയ്യാറാക്കുക: Ensure your Raspberry Pi 3B+ or 4B is powered off and disconnected from any power source.
- Attach the Heatsink: If not already installed, apply the provided heatsink to the main processor of your Raspberry Pi. Ensure proper contact for optimal heat dissipation.
- Mount the PoE HAT (C): Carefully align the 40-pin GPIO header of the PoE HAT (C) with the corresponding pins on your Raspberry Pi. Gently press down until the HAT is securely seated.
- Secure with Standoffs: Use the included standoffs and screws to firmly attach the PoE HAT (C) to your Raspberry Pi. This provides mechanical stability.
- ക്ലിയറൻസിനായി പരിശോധിക്കുക: Verify that the HAT does not interfere with any existing components or cases, especially if you are using a third-party case or larger heatsinks on your Raspberry Pi. Some larger heatsinks may require an 8.5mm GPIO extender for proper fit.

4. പ്രവർത്തന നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ
Once the PoE HAT (C) is installed, follow these steps for operation:
- Connect to PoE Network: Connect an Ethernet cable from a compliant IEEE 802.3af/at PoE network switch or injector to the Ethernet port of your Raspberry Pi. The PoE HAT (C) will draw power and provide network connectivity.
- ഫാൻ പ്രവർത്തനം: The onboard cooling fan is designed for active cooling. It will automatically run upon power-up. A switch labeled 'FAN' (EN/DIS) is present on the HAT. Set it to 'EN' for automatic fan operation or 'DIS' to disable the fan.
- Utilize Output Ports:
- 5V USB-A Output: The USB-A port provides up to 5V 4A output, allowing you to power additional external devices while ensuring stable power to the Raspberry Pi.
- 12V Header Output: The 2-pin header provides a 12V 2A output, suitable for powering specific peripherals that require 12V.

5. പരിപാലനം
The PoE HAT (C) is designed for low maintenance. Periodically inspect the cooling fan for dust accumulation. If necessary, gently clean the fan blades with a soft brush or compressed air to ensure optimal airflow and prevent overheating. Ensure all connections remain secure.
6. പ്രശ്നപരിഹാരം
- No Power to Raspberry Pi:
- Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the PoE HAT (C) and a compliant IEEE 802.3af/at PoE switch or injector.
- Verify that your PoE power sourcing equipment (PSE) is active and providing power. The PoE input voltage must be between 37V and 57V DC. Note that 24V passive PoE is not supported.
- Check the connection of the HAT to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO header for proper seating.
- ഫാൻ കറങ്ങുകയോ ശബ്ദമുണ്ടാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യരുത്:
- Ensure the fan switch on the HAT is set to 'EN' for enabled operation.
- Check for any obstructions preventing the fan from spinning.
- If the fan is making excessive noise or stalling, it may indicate a defect. Contact support for assistance.
- HAT Does Not Fit with Existing Heatsinks/Case:
- Some larger Raspberry Pi heatsinks or cases may interfere with the HAT's components. Consider using a GPIO extender to provide additional clearance.
- External Devices Not Receiving Power from USB-A or 12V Header:
- Verify that the total power draw from the 5V USB-A and 12V header outputs does not exceed the maximum combined output of 25W.
- Ensure the external devices are correctly connected and functioning.
