The Halo Ultra automatically starts recording when powered on. Footage is recorded in a continuous loop, overwriting the oldest files when the storage is full. Important events triggered by the G-Sensor or manual events are protected from being overwritten.
G-Sensor and Event Recording
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden acceleration, braking, or impacts. When such an event occurs, the dash cam automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten during loop recording. These event files are stored in a separate, protected folder.

With a hardwire kit (sold separately), the Halo Ultra provides 24/7 parking surveillance. The dash cam will monitor your vehicle for motion or impact events while parked.
