1. Preparing the Base

Before installation, ensure the ISOFIX connectors are retracted and the support leg is folded. The base features adjustable ISOFIX arms and a foldable support leg for secure vehicle attachment.

Operating: Using Your i-Base LX 2

Attaching a Compatible Car Seat

1. Ensure the i-Base LX 2 is correctly installed in your vehicle with all indicators showing green.
2. Place your compatible Joie car seat (i-Snug, i-Gemm, i-Level, or i-Quest) onto the base.
3. Push down firmly until you hear an audible 'click' and the car seat is securely locked into place. Verify the car seat's own indicators (if any) also show correct attachment.

Detaching a Car Seat

To remove the car seat from the base, locate the EasyRelease button (often at the front or side of the base). Press this button while lifting the car seat upwards. This one-hand operation allows for quick and easy removal.
