Choose a suitable location near your front door, ensuring a clear view of the entryway. Mount the doorbell unit securely using the provided screws and wrench. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and allows for optimal camera angle.
Download the official CP PLUS mobile application from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to register an account and add your new doorbell device. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the doorbell or entering a serial number, then connecting the doorbell to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the installation location.
Plug the provided USB Chime into any available USB port within your home (e.g., TV, set-top box, USB wall adapter). The chime will automatically pair with the doorbell. You can select from 20 different melodies to customize your indoor alert sound.
When a visitor presses the doorbell or motion is detected, you will receive a notification on your smartphone. Open the app to view the live feed and initiate two-way communication. Speak into your phone's microphone to talk to the visitor, and their voice will be heard through the doorbell's speaker.
