The temperature control dial is located on the front of the freezer. Turn the dial to adjust the temperature. "MIN" is the warmest setting, and "MAX" is the coldest setting. "OFF" turns the cooling system off.

This freezer requires manual defrosting. Defrost when frost accumulation reaches about 1/4 to 1/2 inch (0.6 to 1.2 cm) thick. Excessive frost buildup reduces cooling efficiency.
