- Soldering Tip Care: Always tin the tip with a small amount of solder before storing it. This prevents oxidation and extends tip life. Replace tips when they become excessively worn or corroded.
- Sponge Maintenance: Keep the wet sponge clean and moist during use. Replace it if it becomes hardened or excessively dirty.
