The OLIGHT Diffuse uses a customized rechargeable 14500 Lithium-Ion battery with an integrated USB-C charging port. It is also compatible with standard AA batteries, though performance may vary. To access the battery, unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.

To charge the customized battery, remove it from the flashlight and connect a USB-C cable directly to the port on the battery. The battery will indicate its charging status.
