1. Carefully remove all packaging materials and the coffee maker from the box.
2. Wash the water tank, drip tray, and all pod adapters with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

4.3 Priming the Machine (First Use)

Before brewing coffee for the first time, it is recommended to prime the machine to ensure water flows correctly through the system.

3. Once preheating is complete, the indicator light will stabilize. Proceed with inserting your coffee and selecting the water volume as described in General Brewing Steps.
4. Click the brew button to start brewing hot coffee.

5.3 Cold Brew (Direct Brew) Mode

For iced coffee, the machine brews directly without preheating.

1. Fill the water tank with water, optionally adding ice cubes directly into the tank for colder results.
2. Click the power button (short press) to activate Direct Brew mode. No preheating is required.
3. Proceed with inserting your coffee and selecting the water volume as described in General Brewing Steps.
4. Click the brew button to start brewing cold coffee.

5.4 Using Different Coffee Formats

The HiBREW H2B comes with four different adapters to accommodate various coffee types:

• Kcup* Filter: For K-Cup compatible pods. Insert the Kcup* pod into the Kcup* filter adapter.
• Nes* Filter: For Nespresso Original Line compatible capsules. Insert the Nes* capsule into the Nes* filter adapter.
• DG* Filter: For Dolce Gusto compatible capsules. Insert the DG* capsule into the DG* filter adapter.
• Coffee Powder Filter: For espresso powder or E.S.E. pods. Fill the filter with your desired amount of espresso powder and tamp lightly, or insert an E.S.E. pod.

Always ensure the correct adapter is used for your chosen coffee format and that it is securely placed in the brewing chamber before closing the lid.

5.5 Adjusting Water Volume (7 Preset Levels)

The machine offers 7 preset water levels, indicated by LED bars, allowing you to customize the strength and volume of your coffee. Match the LED bars to the bars on your DG* capsule or adjust according to your preference for other coffee types.

5.6 Cup Size Tips

A 6 oz to 8 oz coffee cup is recommended for use with this machine. Mugs or travel tumblers higher than 3.8 inches cannot be used due to the compact design. Please measure your cup before purchasing or using.
