• Vacmaster SCB301 400 Series Portable Spot Cleaner Unit
• 3.5-inch cleaning tool
• Hose cleaning tool
• 8oz trial size of cleaning formula (Vacmaster Clean & Restore Carpet Cleaner)

Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Follow these steps to prepare your spot cleaner for operation:

1. Fill the Clean Water & Solution Tank:
   • Locate the Clean Water & Solution Tank (labeled "Clean Water & Solution Tank") on the unit. This is the tank on the left side when facing the front of the machine.
   • Pull up on the tank to remove it from the machine. It is secured by a spring-loaded lock, so a firm pull may be needed.
   • Remove the lid by pushing up on the latch on the front of the tank.
   • Fill the tank with warm tap water. Do not use water above 104°F (40°C). The tank has fill lines for "SMALL CLEANING AREA" (0.8L/0.2G Liquid), "LARGE CLEANING AREA" (1.2L/0.3G Liquid), and "MAX FILL" (1.6L/0.4G Liquid).
   • Add the Vacmaster Clean & Restore Carpet Cleaner solution. Use 3 capfuls for small areas, 4.5 capfuls for medium areas, and 6 capfuls for large areas.
   • Replace the lid by lining up the tabs on the back of the lid and pressing it down until the latch on the front clicks in place.
   • Place the filled tank back into the machine, ensuring it clicks securely into position.
2. Unwind Power Cord and Hose:
   • Unwind the 15-foot power cord from the back of the unit.
   • Plug the 2-prong power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
   • Unwrap the 6-foot cleaning hose and handle from the machine.

6. പരിപാലനം

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your spot cleaner.

   • Locate the Hose Cleaning Tool on the top of the Clean Water & Solution Tank. Pull it up and out.
   • Remove the 3.5-inch cleaning tool from the end of the hose.
   • Place the Hose Cleaning Tool inside the end of the hose handle. It has a cylinder that will cover the spray nozzle.
   • Turn the machine back on and pull the trigger on the handle. This will run clean water and solution through the hose, clearing out dirt, dust, and debris.
   • Hold the trigger for about 30 seconds, then release and leave the machine on for an additional 10 seconds to clear out any standing water inside the hose.

2. Empty and Clean the Dirty Water Tank:
   • Lift up on the Dirty Water Tank (on the right side of the unit) to remove it from the machine.
   • Set it down and press up on the latch on the front of the lid to open it.
   • Discard the dirty water.
   • Rinse out the tank with clean water until all dirt and debris are removed.
   • Replace the lid and place the clean tank back into the machine.

3. Clean the 3.5-inch Cleaning Tool:
   • The clear plastic cover on the cleaning tool can be removed for easy cleaning.
   • Run the tool under water from the faucet to remove any hair, dirt, or debris stuck in the bristles or cover.
   • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and storing.
