Follow these steps to set up your SinoTrack ST-909L GPS Tracker for optimal performance.

Step 1: Activate SIM Card

Purchase a local 4G (LTE) SIM card. Insert the SIM card into your mobile phone to activate it and remove any PIN code. Ensure the SIM card can make calls, send texts, and has an active internet connection. Once confirmed, carefully insert the activated SIM card into the tracker's SIM slot.

Step 2: Power On the Tracker

Charge the device for approximately 1 hour initially. The yellow and blue indicator lights will begin flashing as the device searches for network and GPS signals. Allow about 5 minutes in an area with good reception (e.g., near a window or outdoors) for both lights to become constant. If the yellow light continues to flash, move the device to another location. A constant blue light indicates a GPS signal, while a constant yellow light indicates a network connection. If no GPS signal is available, the device will use LBS (Location Based Service) for positioning.

Step 3: Setting APN for the Tracker

To enable data communication, you need to configure the APN (Access Point Name) settings. Obtain the APN details (APN, username, password) from your SIM card provider. Send an SMS command from another phone to the tracker's SIM card number:

• If your SIM card's APN has no username or password:

Step 4: Setting GPRS Mode

After setting the APN, send the following SMS command to enable GPRS mode:

7100000

Wait approximately 30 seconds. Both the blue and orange indicator lights should remain constantly ON, indicating that the tracker is active and ready for online tracking. You can now log in to the SinoTrackPro web platform or mobile app. Your username is the tracker's ID number (found on the product), and the default password is 123456.

If the device is online but shows a China location, take it outdoors to an area with good signal reception to acquire a GPS signal. The location will update once a signal is obtained.

In an emergency, press the SOS button on the device. This will send an SOS message to pre-configured guardian numbers and the tracking platform, simultaneously initiating a call to the guardian. If you call the SIM number in the device, it will automatically answer, allowing you to hear sounds around the device.

History Route Playback

Review past travel routes and activities of your vehicle. The platform allows you to select a date range and playback the route, showing speed, stops, and total distance traveled.

• Device lights are not on:
  • Ensure the device is properly plugged into a working car charging port.
  • Charge the device for at least 1 hour.
