Remove all foam inserts from inside the printer's build area.
Installing the Touch Screen
The touch screen is secured for shipping. Remove the two screws and the metal piece holding the screen in place.

Slide the touch screen into position using the two clips on the side of the printer frame. It will lock into place. The metal piece is no longer needed.
Removing Shipping Screws from Build Plate
Locate the four screws holding the build plate in place. Green arrows indicate their positions. Remove these screws using the provided Allen key. These screws are for shipping only and are not needed for operation.

Installing the Filament Holder
Attach the filament holder to the rear of the printer using the two provided screws. This holder supports the filament spool during printing.
Connecting the Filament Guide Tube
Connect one end of the white filament guide tube to the filament sensor located near the spool holder.
Insert the other end of the tube into the top of the print head, directly above the nozzle. This guides the filament through the system.
പവർ കണക്ഷൻ
Plug the power cable into the designated port at the back of the printer.
Flip the power switch to the 'On' position. The printer will begin its initialization process.
Initial Setup and Calibration
Upon first power-on, the printer will prompt you to select your language.
Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. This allows for remote monitoring and control via the Flash Maker app.
The printer will then perform an automatic calibration. This process involves heating, leveling, and vibration compensation to ensure precise and accurate prints. No manual adjustments are required.

Use the provided 50g HS PLA filament sample for initial tests. Feed the filament into the white guide tube until it reaches the print head.
On the touch screen, select the filament type (e.g., PLA). Press "Load". The printer will extrude any leftover factory testing filament before loading the new filament. Remove any extruded residue.
Printing Your First Model
The printer comes preloaded with sample models for immediate testing. Select a model (e.g., the test cube or the small boat) from the printer's interface.
The FLASHFORGE AD5M prints at a maximum speed of 600mm/s, significantly faster than standard 3D printers.

Slicing Software (FlashPrint 5)
To print custom models, download the FlashPrint 5 software from the FLASHFORGE website. It's available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Import your 3D model (e.g., STL file) into FlashPrint. You can adjust size, orientation, and add multiple objects.
Use the "Start Slicing" function. The software converts your 3D model into printable instructions (G-code).
Connect to your printer via Wi-Fi (or Ethernet) through the software and send the G-code directly to begin printing.
Smart Control with Flash Maker App
Download the Flash Maker app (available via QR code in the Quick Start Guide) to your smartphone.
Scan the QR code on the printer's screen to pair your device.
The app allows for live video monitoring (requires additional camera kit), viewing print progress, adjusting print settings, one-click batch file sending, and receiving message alerts for print failures or completion.

The AD5M features 3-second quick-swap nozzles, making maintenance easy.
സൂചി വൃത്തിയാക്കൽ: Heat the nozzle to the material's melting point, insert a needle from the top of the extruder, and remove any accumulated material.
Cold Pull: Heat the nozzle to the material's melting point, then cool it to 80°C and quickly pull the filament out to remove any residue. (Wear heat-resistant gloves throughout the process. For stubborn blockages, repeat the cold pull 2-3 times.)
Nozzle Usage Recommendations:
- Dedicate one nozzle per filament type (especially carbon fiber/PETG).
- When switching filament with the same nozzle, set a temperature higher than the melting point of the filament inside to perform internal cleaning.
- Clean nozzles every 1-3 months.
ലൂബ്രിക്കേഷൻ
Apply the provided white grease to the moving parts of the printer as needed to ensure smooth operation.

Q: What should I do if the screen clip is damaged?
A: We will send you a replacement part. Please refer to the manual and carefully peel off the tape securing the screen cable, then insert the cable horizontally into the clip. You could also refer to our screen installation guide video.
Q: Why can't the printer print successfully?
A: Check if the nozzle is clogged. If clogged, clean or replace the nozzle. The model failed to adhere to the platform because automatic leveling was not enabled before printing. Add supports if overhangs exceed 30°.
Q: Why does the nozzle clog?
A: Low-quality or damp filament. Avoid using composite materials (glitter, wood, carbon fiber) with a 0.4mm nozzle. The nozzle temperature is set too low, resulting in incomplete melting of the filament. Failed to retract the filament properly as indicated by the printer.
