Download the Tuya Smart app and register an account. Navigate to 'Add Device' or the '+' icon, select 'Camera & Lock' and then 'Lock (Wi-Fi)'. Put your lock into pairing mode (usually by interacting with the keypad or reset button until LEDs blink) and follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
Locate the reset button, often found inside the battery compartment on the rear panel. Press and hold the button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a voice prompt confirming initialization. Note that this will delete all user data and return the administrator passcode to the default (often 1234567890).
If the batteries are fully depleted, you can use the mechanical override key provided with the lock for manual entry. Most XSDTS models also feature an emergency USB power port on the exterior panel, allowing you to power the lock temporarily with a power bank to enter your code or fingerprint.
Wake up the lock screen and enter the administrator menu (often by pressing '*' followed by '#' and verifying the admin fingerprint/code). Follow the voice navigation or menu prompts to 'Add User' and select the type of credential (fingerprint, password, or card) you wish to register.
