1. Turn the microscope over and insert four AA alkaline batteries in the base. Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the cover. Match (+) and (-) signs.
2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn it on. The display and light source will illuminate.
3. Place specimen slides under the two clips on the stage to hold them.
4. Adjust the Focusing Knob for clarity and use the Objective Zoom to change magnification.
   Refocus if the image blurs.
5. Use digital zoom IN/OUT buttons to adjust between 1.0x and 2.5x magnification.

• OBJECTIVE ZOOM: Turn to change optical magnification.
• SD CARD SLOT: Saves photos/videos to SD card.

Making the slides

   Next, you can put a label on the edge of your slide. Here you can write the date and the type of object.
4. Remove any excess water with a piece of paper towel by pressing it down gently over the slide cover.
