There is a small button located in the recess where the power cable plugs into, which, when pressed will release the memory cover.

Push the new modules into the slots. You will need alight even pressure to do this.

Ensure that the new memory modules are being recognized correctly by your iMac. Please note: Your iMac performs a memory initialisation procedure when you first turn it on after upgrading or rearranging DIMMs. This process can take 30 seconds or more, and the display of your iMac will remain dark until finished. Ensure you let the memory initialisation process complete.
- Start up your iMac
- Click on the Apple symbol in the top right
